My wife and I went to see her at the shelter and when the woman went to go get her, she came rushing through the doors leading from the back (woman in tow)… Ran over to the counter, jumped up, took one look at me, one look at my wife, looked at the girl behind the counter and said, ”I’ll take ’em!!”

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

I am permanently disabled and she is my daily companion… she has been there through my falls (which she has braced herself so that I could put my hand on her shoulders to help myself up…she has come running from sleeping in the other to sit right down beside me to say, ”I’m here” right before I have had a seizure… She is my child, my friend my confidant, my world, when I am home alone and the sweetest baby ever. Not bad for a 70 lb. dog!!!
