We adopted Sadie from Boone County Animal Shelter back in 2008.

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

I knew from the moment I met her but it took Sadie a little longer to realize it. She 
was terribly underweight and had never been well-cared for. I could tell when I saw her that no one had given her a reason to trust them for a very long time, and I wanted to be the person she trusted for the rest of her life.

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

Sadie has taught me that unconditional love does exist. I look at her everyday and am so thankful that she came into our lives.
