Where Did You Find Your Dog?

I was at the Montgomery County Ohio animal resource center in Dayton.

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

I was at the shelter to pick up a Lhasa Apso for the rescue I volunteered for. While 
walking thru the kennels I came across George undernourished heartworm positive with double ear and eye infections, entropian and lots of pressure sores. I fell in love! Six months later he is 167lbs and a happy and healthy boy and the big brother to 3 yorkies and even has a girlfriend in our female bull mastiff Gracie.

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

People in dog rescue always told me how they felt the dogs they rescued were so grateful and I never had that experience even after 25 fosters until George. He truly makes me feel like he appreciates his new forever home with our family.
