We’re just gonna admit it. We’re suckers for pitties in glasses! The Pittie2020 contest entries we received from January through March were so good that we simply had to dole out the accolades and make a record number of winners!
Take a look and be prepared for a chuckle or two. These pibble faces will make you smile and will remind you why the Pittie2020 initiative is so important. We want the world to “see them more clearly” and for the wonderfully goofy (yet distinguished) furkids they are.
Thank you to our supportive sponsors who are donating prizes to the Pittie2020 contest: Jolly Pets and Fetch Eyewear. It’s great to have a team of pittie advocates on board to further our efforts.
And the winners are…
OVERALL WINNER – Q1, 2016
SPONSORS’ PICKS – Q1 2016
PROJECT BLUE COLLAR
This photo just screams Project Blue Collar and pittie pride! Thank you @gizm0sushi for always always supporting both Project Blue Collar and Pittie2020. We love Godzilla Bane’s bashful high paw and his dapper looking bow tie in these pictures. We definitely think he is the perfect gentleman and abassadog for both PBC and Pittie2020!
CATEGORY WINNERS – Q1, 2016
Most Studious Pittie
Something tells us we could discuss quantum physics or learn the intricacies of neurosurgery from this smart looking pittie lady. Winnie has beauty AND brains – and we couldn’t resist giving her MENSA mug a nod. Thanks for sharing her picture, @winifredelizabeth!
Most Likely to Take Your Breath Away
Hey Romeo, can I be your Juliet? This stunning guy was just too much to pass up. We think he would win Pittie People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Pit Bull in a heartbeat. Thank you @riahrob for sharing this hunk of handsome with us!
Best Dr. Pittie
Calling Dr. Charlie, Dr. Charlie – you’re needed to fix our burst hearts, STAT! The McDreamiest of all pitties, we couldn’t resist making a category all his own for this scrubbed out pibble gent. Thanks @me_and_charlie for capturing this smile-making moment!
Most Likely To Make You Smile
@Dominicthepit has been a faithful supporter of Pittie2020 and we couldn’t be happier to honor him in a category so befitting of him. Because one look at this mug n’ tongue and you’re a goner! We don’t know we’d leave the house if he were ours
HONORABLE MENTIONS – Q1 2016
Lilo is looking fly in this great picture by @lilosstory. This petite pittie sure has the life and her smile says it all. We love her confident gaze and taped back ears – just proves she is loved beyond measure.
Shhh – don’t disturb. Pittie Einstein is deep in thought, but graced us with a glance enough to captivate us and make us want more! Especially those darn full flaps. @nelleluber, thanks for sharing this photo with us!
@scoobythemixpittie is the International Pittie of Mystery in our book. We feel a French accent coming on as we behold this stunning beret-adorned pibble guy. Mais oui! Thanks for your continued participation Scooby!
Just as much as this photo caught our eye, so did his foster mom‘s caption about him too! “This is Atlas, a highly educated pibble who spends lots of time in the library studying how to train his new human, who any day now will come for him, but until then he shall practice his skills on his foster humans.” We love you Atlas!
