I got him from the Lloydminster SPCA.

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

I went to the SPCA in search of a dog since I was buying my own house. When I saw Ottis he was so quiet and shy and seemed uninterested in anybody's attention. But he was exactly what I was looking for! He is a handsome Great Dane X Black Lab. He had been there at the SPCA for almost a year. As I was waiting for possession of my house, I went and visited him every day and every day he got more and more excited to see me, so I knew he was ready to come home with me!

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

Ottis has brought such a sense of comfort to my home! He is spoiled rotten, but who knows what he had been through before his stay at the SPCA so it is well deserved! He has made me realize how important it is to rescue animals. I feel as though he is aware and grateful of his life and what we have done for each other! I have a great sense of peace and pride knowing that for the rest of his life he will be happy, healthy and safe with me!
