- : If anyone has a right to feel jaded or mistrustful of humans it’s Fred. Yet he is the happiest, most positive little guy I’ve ever met. He wakes up with a smile on his face and his tail wagging every single day. Fred has taught me that out of every dark day, out of every bleak cloud there is a ray of sunshine if you’re willing to look for it. Fred makes every bad day good and every good day better for me. He is my best friend and I am thankful every day to have found him.
- : I was looking to add a second dog to my family and when I saw Fred’s picture I knew he was the one. He had these short little legs, with a big smile and these adorable little whiskers. He had been through some trauma. His previous owners moved and left him behind in an empty house. He was taken to a shelter where he became depressed, so the good folks at Arbed Rescue put him in a foster home. He was adopted but unfortunately returned 24 hours later. I knew he had to come home with me. The moment I met him was one of the best moments of my life. He radiated this sense of genuine cheerfulness and affection. His tail never stopped wagging. It’s like I was a long lost friend that he had found again and he couldn’t be more happy to see me.
