I walked in to the shelter after viewing Walt’s profile online. My husband and I fell in love with his face the moment we saw him! We went for a ”test walk” and he seemed like such a sweet boy, the perfect addition to our family (my hubby and me plus our 2 rescue kitties).

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

Walt has taught me patience and discipline. We did training classes which I feel was the best thing for us. We don’t know his background as he was found as a stray,and about a year old when we got him so we will never know what his previous life consisted of. All I know is that his life now will be filled with lots of toys, walks, and love like he never could’ve dreamed of!
