Where Did You Find Your Dog?

This is the love of my life, Mimi! I found her in Lewisville. She was roaming the streets, drinking out of my friends hose spigot when she saw me get in my car and jumped on the hood!

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

I knew she was mine after I fostered her for a bit and found myself making up excuses why other families couldn't take her. My heart began to ache when I thought of her. (which was all the time!) Late one night I called my rescue director and told her 'take her off petfinder! I'm keeping her' My director told me 'I knew it by the way y'all looked at each other'.

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

She has changed my life in every way. I am active because of her- we do dock diving and lure coursing and fly ball and I've meet so many of my friends that way. I am alive because of her- she brought me out of my depression. I see life and light in her eyes and smile. We would wear your collar (and of course take photos) proudly.
