Where Did You Find Your Dog?

I got Joe from the Oh My Dog VT rescue. We got him on the day our sweet five month old puppy, Charlie, passed away from congenital mega esophagus. The day prior, Joes brother had been adopted. Joe was as sad as I was and the sweetest woman at Oh My Dog knew we would be a perfect match and save each other. Although, I think he’s saved me more than anything.

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

When I first met Joe, he walked into oh my dog wth his foster mom and he ran right up to me with his little body wiggling and dancing. It was perfect. And the happiness I needs on what otherwise was the saddest day I had ever experienced.

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

He’s shown me love, patience, happy, and companionship. He has changed my life in the most amazing way. Proving a dog isn’t ”just a dog” – he’s my best friend and the love of my life.
