Where Did You Find Your Dog?

I do photography for the local shelter. I was walking through to get a dog who needed some pictures taken when I passed Eisley’s kennel. She jumped up and tilted her head towards me, side ways. Almost like she was looking at me saying ”You’re my new mom, aren’t you?” A few days later, we decided to adopt a new lady and took our boys to the shelter to meet a few dogs. And the rest is history!

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

When we went to the shelter to let the boys meet a few girls, we weren’t really even thinking about Eisley. We had our eyes on a few other ladies. We looked at Eisley first since she was on one of the first rows of the adoption floor. The second she came bouncing into the room, we knew she was the girl for us. We had just lost our sweet but crazy girl, and were looking for a bouncy girl to liven up the house. After that, we met a few other girls and just didn’t feel the connection with them. Eisley stole our hearts with her bouncy goofy playfulness and decided she was coming home with us. The boys decided that was fine and we took her home from the shelter that day!

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

Eisley has shown us to do anything and everything you want to. She has this attitude about her that makes you feel like you can do anything. She has no regards (this can be good and bad) and does what she feels needs to be done. She is strong willed and determined. She has shown us to have fun and don’t let others judgements ruin your day because in the end, it doesn’t really matter. You can get through life with a care free attitude and a smile on your face, especially if you’re a pit bull!
