Where Did You Find Your Dog?

Charlee was found on the side of an interstate in Houston, Texas in a cardboard box with his 5 brothers and sisters. He was the runt of the bunch & had been beaten up pretty bad; he still has a ”knot” in his tail & a big scar on his front leg. He was scared of everything.

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

I had been looking for a puppy when my cousin told me his friend found 6 puppies. She sent a picture of him, a week and a half later my cousin was bringing him in to my house. That’s pretty much all it took. He was mine all mine after that.

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

When I found Charlee, I was looking for a puppy. I didn’t care if I had to pay money for one. I wanted a puppy. You know, puppy fever. Finding a ”free” puppy was even better. Now, I would never ”BUY” another puppy again. Charlee has taught me patience and love amongst many other things. He has truly made me believe that rescues are the way to go and introduced me to a whole new world that I was honestly pretty ignorant of. Now I want to save them all!
