Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

I looking to volunteer at WMR and a staff member mentioned fostering. I found Zeus (formerly Irving) who had just been rescued as a stray. His hair was long, matted, curly and he had dirt and paint all over him. I took him home for 2 weeks in the foster program. When it came time to bringing him back, I just couldn’t do it! We have been happy pals ever since.

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

Because of Zeus, I am now an active foster for WMR and Animal Humane New Mexico year round. Zeus’s siblings, also rescues (Loki: AHNM, Penelope Peanut: WMR) have their Blue Collar’s too!
