Where Did You Find Your Dog?

Rodney came from Denver Dumb Friends League in Denver as a puppy. He was 12 wks old and ended up getting very sick with pneumonia after having kennel cough. We spent a few thousand dollars on him within the first 2 wks of adopting him. He’s been our best bud for the last 9 years. 2 yrs ago, we saw 8-month old Maisie on a hot summer day at the Highlands Fair, a little street fair in our neighborhood. Life is Better Rescue brought a few adoptable dogs, and I saw her and fell in love. We brought Rodney to meet her to make sure they would be friends, and then adopted her on the spot.

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

I knew both Maisie and Rodney were meant to be part of the family immediately upon seeing them. I love that they are both black, shiny, beautiful mutts.

They are probably the most spoiled dogs on the planet, but they deserve it. They are my little sweethearts!
