Actually, deep in my heart I always knew it, but about 3 or 4 weeks after I adopted him ”temporarily” they called me to say that some other people wanted to adopt him permanently and in that instant I realized I couldn’t live without him. He trusted me and I couldn’t disappoint him.

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

He changed my life in many ways but to coexist with an animal was such a revealing experience that I even became vegetarian. I finally made the connection and now all animals are in my Otto’s eyes. A small miracle occurred. His face is the first thing I see every morning and the last thing I see at the end of the day. The feeling is very simple: happiness. We live in Caracas but we are moving to Madrid next month.
