Jazz: We found her via petfinder.com and one of the most amazing foster moms. Stella: Facebook through the same foster mom that fostered Jazz. If it would not have been for their foster mom, we wouldn’t have our beautiful Stella.

We knew Jazz was the one the moment we met her. She is the most amazingly sweet dog we have ever met. We knew Stella was the one the moment we saw her in pictures. She just looked so sad and we knew we could give her the love to make her smile.

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

Stella has taught us the value of patience. It has taken years for us to get her to where she is not terrified of the weather – she used to turn into a drooling, shaking mess when it would rain. Now, she’ll just hassle and shake. Jazz is half German Shepherd. She is extremely protective and it just makes us smile when we see her doing her thing.
