We found Goose at Save The Animals Foundation in Fairfax, where she had been rescued from the top of the list at a high kill shelter in KY.

When we met Goose for the first time she was one rambunctious girl, but after a little bit of play she calmed down and showed us that she was a good girl who just needed some love, and had tons of love to give!

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

Goose has not only taught us that owning a dog calls for order and routine, but she filled an emptiness we didn’t even know we had. Every time I look at her I am reminded that if it wasn’t for that one volunteer who walked into that high kill shelter and rescued her, we would have never known the spunky, playful, loving furball that is a part of our family today. We love our Goose, and she had definitely changed our lives for the better.
