I found him in a shelter. He had been there twice in a very short time. He was owner surrendered the second time. He was listed as a”Live Wire” by the shelter.

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

I actually had gone to see a dog who was identical to my childhood dog. But when I got there … he was already adopted. I heard a dog crying a couple cages over. I walked over to the cage and he put his foot outside of the cage and held my hand. I had been looking for a dog to help me through my sudden loss of my heart dog who passed from cancer a month before. It took me a week to actually adopt Eddee because the owners had to be hunted down to sign him over first. Eddee came home with me one month to the exact date of the passing of my heart boy Leeo. 4/19/12 … He is special. He is my little hero.

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

He has helped me to overcome the death of my beloved Leeo. Leeo was only 5 years old when the cancer took him. I was totally devastated. Eddee has helped me on my journey to healing being that little ”Live Wire” …. he kept me busy and my mind amused … and my heart has allowed him in it’s own special place right next to my Leeo
