Rescue Dog’s Name
Duke & Zoe
Where Did You Find Your Dog?
Duke was adopted from the Hamilton County SPCA. He’s a Catahoula and has a giant personality. We’ve always thought he has an old soul and seems very wise. He was my first dog and sparked my love for all things canine…once he was part of our family, I immediately started trying to convince my husband that we needed another dog. About 2 years later we adopted Zoe (Once named Margarita) from the Save the Animals Foundation STAF. We had our hearts set on a different dog, but so did someone else, so we opened our hearts to other dogs they had. We met Zoe and fell in love with her goofiness and spunk. Together the two make a perfect pair and have inspired our family to be very involved in the rescue community by volunteering, fundraising, transporting, and fostering dogs. We support the underdog. Ruff!
Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.
We knew both of our dogs as soon as we saw them…just a feeling perhaps.
How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?
These amazing dogs have taught me so much about loyalty and love.
