Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

I was at the shelter to pick up my son who was working on a boy scout badge. I saw this adorable dog in one of the cages and asked why she had a red dot on the cage. She was going to be put to sleep the next day. I asked to hold her and when they put her in my arms, she gave me a million kisses and I knew I could not leave without her. She was my love for 20 1/2 years. (Yes, you read it right) 20 1/2 years!!

She was a fearless companion, ten pounds of terror and rules the roost over the next two decades at our house. Faithful to the very end, she taught me perseverance.
