Where Did You Find Your Dog?

Tell Us About the Moment When You Knew that You Two Were Meant for Each Other.

We knew Cookie was meant to be part of our family when our son saw her in June of 2009 at Petsmart. We told him no, we could not adopt a dog and was driving back home-we heard sobs from the backseat & turned around & headed back to Petsmart. Needless to say, she found her furever home that day! Once again, back to Oakley Petsmart to pick up some dog food & Dream House rescue had a playpen of bassett/beagle puppies up for adoption. They had saved the puppies mother (Nancy), now adopted & renamed Macy from euthanasia while pregnant. Thank goodness for Dream House…..otherwise we would not have our Cowgirl! I mean who can pass up floppy bassett ears??

How Has Your Hero Changed Your Life?

Our rescue dogs have changed our lives for the better. Who does not love sleeping dogs hogging all the blankets & dog nose smudges all over the windows?
